The Kooples, a French fashion house launched in 2008, has released a new app made for couples. The new Blackout app has been made for couples to stay in contact with one another. What separates this from other traditional instant-messaging services is that users can send their significant others encrypted images that can be unlocked with a swipe.
The app also allows users to enable the ‘Blackout’ mode, which prevents your devices from receiving calls, texts and other distractions to completely keep your attention to the task at hand. There is also the ‘Glitch’ mode that enables users to send only partial images, making things into an intimate gate that both parties can enjoy.
To celebrate this occasion, the company has also launched a new film set in a Soul type club where two users connect and avoid all the pitfalls of distractions using the app.
A play on the word couples, the company traditionally features couples wearing the men’s and women’s collections together in its ads. This makes it an app perfect for lovers. It is designed to be used privately for one-on-one communication and is available for free on Google Play and the Apple store.
