For the Love of Art

Asia’s premier art fair dedicated to photography from September 11-13, 2015 at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre brought together some of the most exciting names from east and west, masters of the fine art of photography.

The elegant fair featured around 50 leading international gallerias combining over 500 works for sale by masters such as Nobuyoshi Araki, Birdhead, Boomoon, Guy Bourdin, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Hsieh Chun-te, Chien-Chi Chang, Elliott Erwitt, Yang Fudong, Candida Höfer, Horst P. Horst, Axel Hüette, André Kertész, Steven Klein, Gustave Le Gray, FengMengbo, Daido Moriyama, Vik Muniz, Helmet Newton, Yuki Onodera, Jiang Pengyi, Irving Penn, Herb Ritts, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Zhang Xiao, Fen Yan and Yang Yongliang. Highlights of the three day exhibition included the debut of Taryn Simon’s seminal work ‘Birds of the West Indies’, a cutting edge video installation program curated by Professor Zhang Peili.

The Talks Program included the chance to listen to, and meet with, some of the world’s best photographers.
