Coach, a leading New York design house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle collections, is excited to unveil the company’s next generation retail concept at the flagship store in The Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping mall.
The new store design was developed by Coach Executive Creative Director Stuart Vevers, in partnership with world renowned creative firm Studio Sofield, led by Designer and President William Sofield. Drawing from a wide range of influences, the concept places a premium on contrasting textures and luxe materials.
The Dubai Mall flagship features a glass-block façade with bronze signage and logo. The store interiors consist of iron spot brick pavers, reclaimed heart-pine wood flooring with custom hand-tufted wool carpeting in Men’s and Women’s rooms. The store concept’s palette is natural.
Fabricated from natural and ebonized ash, blackened steel, antique bronze and mahogany trim, the cabinetry features handbag walls incorporating seasonal artwork back-drops on roller systems. The stores are appointed with statement mid-century furniture punctuating the elegant lines and muted colors.
The Coach Dubai Mall flagship store is a 1,850 square foot space, increasing the capacity by 25% allowing Coach to introduce new categories starting with their RTW debut. The store is the first Modern Luxury store in the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom center flagship store in Saudi Arabia being the first in the Middle East.
