Peach is affirming itself as the next color to follow in the footsteps of Pink which has dominated the fashion scene in retail design, visual merchandising, fashion film, photography and design for several years now.
This particular peach tone is offbeat and creamy. It echoes the Coral tones which were leading the market about 4 years ago but in a much more pastel expression for 2017 and beyond.
Kwangoo Lee, Obsession Serie, 2017 / Molly Goddard AW17
The designers picking up this offbeat candy hue are Louis Vuitton and Molly Goddard. It is key to note we first noticed Peach making a statement in art installations as seen in Andrew Chapman, Kwangho Lee and Anouk Kruithof’s sculptures.
