Kuwait. Porsche Centre Kuwait, Behbehani Motors Company, partnered with RunQ8 for its annual charity initiative organized by the Fawzia Sultan Rehabilitation Institute (FSRI), a non-profit, healthcare institution. The event which took place on Saturday 12th November, helped raise funds to support the treatment and care of children with disabilities referred for rehab at FSRI’s Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Centre (CERC).
With the Porsche Cayenne S as a lead car, the race started from the Scientific Centre, Salmiya, where participants either walked or ran to raise awareness for children with disabilities in Kuwait.
For the past six years, RunQ8 has raised funds to support the work of CERC, resulting in free healthcare services provided to 20 per cent of the children admitted to the facility, with a further 60 per cent of treatments subsidized by the initiative.
