A. Lange & Söhne is back with two watches form the Saxonia family. Presented in January at a trade fair in Geneva, the new watches rework the traditional Saxonia look into something a little different.
First let’s talk about what’s different. The watches feature a new minute scale that gives the dial an eloquent and luxurious feel. In order to add more prominence to the dials, A. Lange & Söhne extended the minute hand slightly and applied appliques to the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock symbols. The watch is also bigger than the boutique versions at 37mm rather than 35mm.
The watches come in either pink-gold or white gold which subtly complement the grayish silver finishing of the dial. Both have hand-stitched alligator leather straps that come in red brown and black respectively. The watches also have a manually wound L941.1 calibre provides a power reserve of about 45 hours.
The exquisitely made watches are currently available in A. Lange & Söhne boutiques around the world and in Kuwait at the Salhiya Complex.
