Burberry has recently introduced The Burberry Scarf Bar, a celebration of the brand’s iconic cashmere scarves, offering an expanded range of classic and lightweight cashmere designs, all made in Scotland. All done up with a new range of colors and prints, as well as a variety of thread colors for monogramming, customers can choose to create their own Burberry scarf exactly the way that they want is, for the first time.
The new experience is celebrated with a short film, shot at the Scottish mills in Elgin and Ayr depicting the process that each scarf goes through. Each scarf is made of 100% cashmere and is carefully woven on a traditional loom and finished by skilled craftspeople using expert methods that have been passed down through generations.
The process is a combination of the following components: The finest cashmere, artisanal techniques, dyed to over 30 colors, spun to the perfect weight and strength, woven on traditional looms, hand checked for quality and precision and washed in fresh Scottish waters then brushed by natural teasels, finished by hand and monogrammed for you.
In store monogramming is unique to the global flagship on 121 Regent Street, London, but you can easily order yours online.
