Imagine a reinterpretation of your typical Ibizan sandal. Think natural fibers and traditional dying techniques for sun-bleached summer essentials.

A new mini- capsule created by Gemma Serra Vila in close collaboration with A.P.C.’s Jean Touitou has just launched in-store. Created by Gemma Serra Vila, who launched her label for Spring/Summer 2014, Ball Pagès draws on its Ibizan roots to create hand-crafted sandals made by local artisans.

Named after a traditional dance on the island, the young footwear label is inspired by the shoes worn by folk dancers, taking a traditional model and updating it to create a super-slim, dance shoe-espadrille hybrid. Especially for A.P.C., a two-piece capsule collection features off-white and off-black sandals made from 100% natural, green lime-dyed Pita fiber.

A hot weather essential for the long lazy days just over the horizon—
