Inspired by its Vanguard Collection, Franck Muller’s newest Yachting Collection makes a splash as it unveils its latest timepieces. With strong nautical themes and colors inspired from the deep blue sea, the watch is an interesting take on sea-faring watches combined with an avant-garde look.
There are four variants of the Yachting collection – classic, chronograph, tourbillon and Gravity tourbillon. In essence, they are sports watches that have all the technical features seafarers would use. Each style has a different level of power reserve starting from a 42 hour reserve to a 5 day reserve for the Gravity tourbillon. The collection also features either an automatic or manual movement.
Where the watches become distinct from others is its use of Vanguard numerals that adorn the dial and enhance its legibility. The casing is available in titanium, 18-carat gold and stainless steel. Other styles in the watch come with a open-face dial that allows you have a first-hand look at its mechanisms.
Since water doesn’t really go well with leather, each watch comes with rubber and alligator straps. Check out the latest collection at select Franck Muller Boutiques in the region.
